Value shop

I provide a Value Shop to my customers

This is a similar approach to strategic consulting provided by organizations like McKinsey.

A value shop is different from a typical marketing and design agency because of the unique nature of the problems I solve. Problem-solving requires a process of figuring out that we have the right problem, first and foremost. If we begin to solve the wrong problem on day one, then we may lose valuable time, money, and you will fall further and further behind the competition.

Problem-solving through Value Shop services

Change management: seamless transition from existing agency services provider model to the new productized scaleable platform model – cultural change that shouldn’t require additional work because the organization will be the change itself

Ongoing discovery: fact-finding on prospect and customer calls to identify pain points and uncover latent needs to then build into the system – standardize this process so it becomes a trainable task

Roadmapping: iterative feature release through version controlled roadmap – standardize this process so it becomes a trainable task

UX: userflow, wireframes, visual design, interaction design, front-end coding) – standardize this process so it becomes software-based

Visual Design: high-fidelity, minimal, and clean design products for clients + assets – standardize this process so it becomes software-based

Development: custom WordPress tech stack for streamlined click-to-clone templates that we design together based on your needs – documentation will allow this to be expanded upon as needs emerge by me or another WordPress expert

Strategy: content marketing, user acquisition, growth hacking, lead gen, canvas exercises – standardize this through “value modules”

Automation: email, social media publishing as blog posts publish, the nuanced automation requirements that we’ll discover in the near future – documentation will allow this to be expanded upon as needs emerge by me or another WordPress expert

Documentation: capture the value of our work – standardize this process so it becomes a trainable task

Scaleable System: build ideal end-to-end solution that enables a client to visit front-end of site and take themselves through the entire process without needing to communicate with a human until they’re ready – transaction can take place and value is automatically delivered as any other SaaS platform – manageable by junior level employee – upgrades to system will always require expert developer but with documentation you can hire anyone to come in

Coaching: cultural alignment, vision extraction, mindset adjustments, prioritization, talent acquisition, etc

Ecosystem: outline the plan to release an ecosystem of services and support platforms (Q&A, forum, directory, etc). Develop the ecosystem together. Make each component of the ecosystem scaleable and ready to clone as needed for clients

Implementation: ability to execute the above in proper order

"I raised $3 million from Eduardo Saverin (Co-Founder of Facebook) & Tim Draper (VC and Founder of Draper University). I owe a lot to Dan for simplifying complex ideas and being the initial spark of inspiration that motivated me to go for it all." -Josh Rosenheck
